Hey Jodi!
Great blog, just wondering why you don't like Centrum? I usually buy CVS multivitamins...they have the USPC or something to that extent seal of approval from pharmacists...

Kh!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!! You came and visited me!! Love you!!

Michelle: As much as I hate getting off track, I love the feeling of a fresh start! It's awesome! And Heather was spot on in her answer to you. Thanks Heather!

Lynn: Regulate that blood sugar, girl and you will be back on track!:o)

Heather: I have seen an Olympic table tennis match...and it is crazy!LOL

Tiffany: Caffeine is a stimulant so even if it is not messing with your hormones, it is causing some kind of addiction/dependence. Try easing up 1 cup per week or go down a serving size (large to med) and you should notice a change.:o)

Wow, even my 10 year old will ask if it is that day of the month-day-try 2 weeks, even when I ovulate now! Thank you, what about coffee, tea, etc...do you think it causes your hormones to go crazy? I feel my diet is fairly clean, but drink a ton of coffee!

Clearly all of us commenting identified with this one. That, or you're stalking us. LOL This line in particular grabbed me, as I don't consider myself an emotional roller coaster, but lately the more still I am physically, the more my brain ping pongs thoughts faster than an Olympic table tennis match (ever seen one? holy moly!) "Scattered thoughts, highs and lows, goals that change by the hour, low self esteem one day, can conquer the world the next day seem to pepper our weeks."

Michelle-I've known Jodi for quite a while, and I feel I can say with assurance that nut butters in general are decent foods, however they are rich in Omega-6 fatty acids, something most of our diets are too dominant in. Whereas omega-3 and omega-3 dominant sources of good fat are better to emphasize in the diet, they are more efficient. Examples are fatty fish and their oil supplements, flax, avocado, Udo's oil blend. Nuts/nut butter, olives/olive oil, etc. are sort of "next tier down" fats and oils. Good guys for sure, but not great-good like the others. Rock the top tier ones and you'll glow, I swear it!

Ok Jodi, where are you hiding in my house??!!! Great balls of hormones, seriously, are you here? Talk about nailing me on the head!! This entire year I have been a hormonal mess, off diet, no training because I am exhausted and depressed and my family (son) is literally sucking the life out of me!!! I just started back with the clean eating (to save my life!! because I am ready to drive off a bridge!) and am now trying to figure out how to restart again (again, again, etc....ugh!!).... I think I can this time out of necessity! Thanks for this one!!! Whew, I am still looking for you here!!!!

This post completely resonates w/ me! I let me nutrition get waaay off track these past four months and I was a HOT MESS w/ mood swings etc. Just four days back on track and I already feel so much better. (Also adding back 3 days of lifting into the mix is helping a lot!)

Do you think almond butter is better then peanut butter?
